Job Description

We are looking for a talented QA Tester to analyze the user requirements for application enhancements and preparing testing specifications for companies products/services maanaged on core infrastructure (Azure) with a key focus across automating as much of the infrastructure as possible. In this role you will be supporting the development team in testing various web based and client server applications across domains like Retail, travel and bespoke digital products. We are looking for someone with good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a QA Test Analyst.

• Participate as an integral and enthusiastic part of the team, exhibiting ownership, follow-through, initiative, awareness, and effective communication with peers and management.

• Experience in implementing and maintaining automation framework using Selenium WebDriver, JAVA, Cucumber, TestNG and Maven.

• Experience in Configuration Management Version Control - Git/GitHub, Continuous Integration, Test Automation.

• Experience in performing Functional testing, UAT testing, Regression Testing, Smoke testing for all releases

• Self-accountable with the ability to prioritise well and work in environments with competing and alternating priorities, with a constant focus on delivery.

• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and a high degree of emotional intelligence.

• Experience in creating end to end test scenarios covering all integration points for test coverage.

• Experince working with Maven, GIT, Bitbucket and Jenkins.

• Experince in using Browserstack or any front-end UI/UX testing suite.

• Collaborating with team and team leads to determine software development priorities, goals and tasks, coding core functions and test components to ensure software functionality, reliability, security, and maintainability via the core software development practices of code review, scrum work planning and retrospectives.

• Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to quickly analyse and learn a large existing codebase.

• Full cycle code development and implementation experience is preferred.

• Experience in computer operating systems and software packages like R or Python.

• Understanding of Agile processes in Software Development Life cycle.

• Excellent communicator, able to work as part of a team.

• Experience in System administration of Linux or Window.

• Work with team leader to collaborate, review, and deliver high quality software applications.

• Work with Stakeholders to determine new features.

• Experience working with SOAP and REST services using SOAP UI, Tested both XML and JSON formats.

• Implementing testing strategies with a good code coverage.
